This is to invite environmental assessment
practitioners, planners, academicians and representatives of public
administration for the practice–oriented training for trainers on StrategicEnvironmental Assessment (SEA). It is a practice–oriented course for
authorities who have the potential to become trainers on SEA in their own countries.
The purpose of the training is to introduce participants the concept
of SEA concept by using an innovative, interactive and effective teaching
methodology: Core elements are Harvard University based case–works in groups,
simulations and short conceptual inputs as well as action learning elements.
The training has been developed by the GTZ and InWEnt and has been modified
to reflect the requirements of the UNECE SEA Protocol by the Integra Consulting
Services, the Czech consultancy focused on EIA and SEA within Czech Republicand
abroad.
