Students` media organisation „Insite" has one free place in Malta for European Voluntary Service (EVS) program, starting in August 2008 and finishing in May 2009.

„Insite" is looking for a person, interested in administration and video production. We have only one place: you must be native English speaker or have a very good command of English. 

Job Overview
A growing student media organization would like to offer an experience within its Development branch for a person to act as an assistant by working with the Media Officer. 

Duties and Responsibilities
• Production of a weekly short video on youth related issues 
• assist the director or producer 
• involved in all stages of the production process (from pre-production through to post-production and transmission) 
• help ensure production runs smoothly.
• Have a technical, creative and administrative role Pas: 
• supervise setup and operation of production equipment
• help plan video format
• research scripts
• maintain production records 
• hire or borrow equipment.
• working closely with the producer, director and production team; 
• attending and co-ordinating planning meetings; 
• liaising with the camera and sound crew during studio recordings; 
• booking artists and performers; 
• organising the production and distribution of scripts; 
• Assist the Media, Development, Activities, External Relations, International Relations and Chief Executive Officer in their daily duties 
• Manage the organisation's email and social profile accounts
• Help promote the newspaper and the organisation's social events 
• Represent the organisation with the CEO in official events

Job Duration 
• August 2008 – May 2009 

Skills required

• enthusiasm, motivation and a proactive manner; 
• ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative;

• some experience in filming and editing

"Insite" is a student run, non profit, independent media organisation, whose intrinsic purpose is to promote student life. We are producing free monthly students newspaper "Insiter" and weekly videos as well as other media products.
