Within the framework of the initiative of the Eastern Partnership, it is planned to liberalize the visa regime between the partner countries and the countries of the European Union. However, during this transition to new forms of interaction, it is necessary to take into account the specificity of the country, the current condition of its visa regime, and to carry out an estimation of a degree of its readiness for transformations. We cordially invite you to take part in the conference “Visa policy in the context of the EU and Belarus relations: the current situation and prospects”, which will take place on 22 June 2009 in the conference hall of Crowne Plaza Minsk at the address: 13, Kirov St.
During the conference, there will be a presentation of the final report on the results of the monitoring and comparative analysis of the EU visa policy and issue of visas in Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Belarus. The monitoring was carried out in October - November 2008. During the conference, questions of concrete forms and variants of possible solutions for liberalization of the visa regime for the Republic of Belarus will be discussed.
