Members of the organizing committee for the establishment of the Belarusian Christian Democracy association, have collected more than 12,000 signatures in support of their parliamentary nominees, a leader, Pavel Sevyarynets, told BelaPAN.

“The Belarusian authorities speed up their ambitious privatization programme while in the mean time the authoritarian state structure remains untouched”, wrote the German analytical internet source Telepolis.

Belarusians and the citizens of the EU countries have common geographical location in the Old World and they also share common problems, in particular, concerning family care and worries about their future. A sociological poll shows that both the EU and Belarus are equally alarmed about the rising prices, however overall, Belarusians have more trust in their government, while the Europeans rely on powerful Brussels.
